Add's

When submitting a form request for an add on this site please make sure you put exactly what you want on the page in plain english (we don't have multi language support yet) and tell us where You think it should be placed. If you forget that last bit then we will place it where we think it fits best.

Please try to keep each line of your ad to 74 characters or less, this helps us place it faster because we don't have to re-format it to fit.

Also, take note of the warning about MS Internet Explorer, the form may not work correctly and all we will get if this happens is a screen full of nothing. If in doubt, use email.

Who can advertise here ?

Anybody at all, there are no restrictions on who can place an add, there are restrictions on the kind of add however. All add's are screened before going on line to ensure that we don't put obscene or otherwise indecent material on public display. If your intention is to place such an add then we suggest you find somewhere else to do it, because we are just not interested.

Does it cost anything ?

NO in most cases. We are not in this for money, we do it because it's fun. The only charge ever placed on anyone is if they are going to make a mint out of the add, then we might charge them a dollar or two.

Policing the site

How can we tell if someone makes a mint from an add ? We can't because its YOU they take the mint from. We rely on you the reader to let us know if someone is using the site for commercial gain. If you answer an add and find out its not what it claims to be, let us know and we'll remove the add or charge them if they want to keep it there.

Banners, how do I get one ?

If you want a Banner or an Add placed on the site and you are a business or commercial venture just Email Us and we'll get in touch.

How long will the add stay there?

Any add placed on this site will stay there for as long as you need it, in fact the only two times an add will be removed are if You tell us its no longer required or if you try to rip someone off!

The People Link

The link to People is there for anyone to leave a message for someone else or for anyone to post a notice looking for someone with similar interests or maybe that they haven't seen for a while.
This site will not be used for Match Making, Dating or crude suggestions in any form. As stated above we screen every add before it goes public, if we don't like it we will send it back to you with our reasons for not publishing it. In this event you can either find somewhere else for it or you can change it and re-submit.
